Illusions of Element ra build
I thought of this build while clashing with many elementalists in ra which sortive gave me this idea. This build is for ra (or possible ab). Although its not the best build, its a fun build to play around with. You need nightfall and Eotn for this.
Mesmer/elementalist
Fast casting: 10+1( minor rune) Illusion Magic: 12+1+3 (hat and rune) Fire Magic: 8/ Armor: you can choose(mostly vital runes)
[skill]fragility[/skill]
[skill]signet of illusions[/skill]
Glyph of Immolation (cause burning for next 3 spells for 3 secs each.)
Shell shock (cause cracked armor)
[skill]glowing gaze[/skill]
[skill]steam[/skill]
[skill]drain enchantment[/skill]
[skill]resurrection signet[/skill]
So first you cast fragility on your target, then use in order signet of illusions, glyph of immolation. Then here comes your dmg.
Cast Shell Shock, will do 100ish dmg , wait 3 secs for burning to stop, causes cracked armor.
Cast Glowing gaze, for 70 dmg, wait 3 secs for burning.
Cast Steam, for 140 dmg, wait 3 secs for burning to stop.
Causes blind.
A normal 60 target would be dead without healing but if not just do it all again.
Glowing gaze gives you enough energy gain to rinse and repeat. Although you don't have to wait for the 3 secs of burning to stop it does more dmg if you do so.
If you encounter a fighter first use glyph of immolation+steam first to blind then shell shock and glowing gaze.
Drain enchantment can be replaced with any other healing skill that works. (use with signet of illusions)
I first started using enevating charge (instead of glowing gaze) for extra conditions but it was too energy heavy. If you can find a better 5e skill to replace gaze is also fine.
The cons of this build is that using fragility+illusion of signets+glyph of immolation takes up some time to start. But this build can easily add dmg with other people using conditions on your team which is helpful.
Its funny cause I use spells from 3 different elements. Anyways its fun to try and if it can be improved advice would be great .

I tried that but as I said...it makes it exteamely energy heavy for me. But if you can manage it go ahead.

You brought an elite just so you can cast two mediocre condition spells? Not sure I would have done the same. You also have too many points in FC. You rarely need to bring it above 7-8 natuarally.

I find Signet of Illusion is best on Nec. So you can cast Blood, Curse and Death at the highest atribute.
For Me/E, I'm not sure maybe Searing Heat and AoE alike with snares? To be honest Fragtile isn't that powerful unless you have a constant condition apply/remove such as Crystal Wave and/or Epidemic.

Necro's can't use runes for a mesmer.
MoI is muuuch more effetive on mes due to the runes.
Anyway - at the build.
It's mediocre damage and shutdown.
